Prof. Dr. Huang Leting

President of the International Society for Mine Surveying（ISM）

In 1982, Huang Leting graduated from Shandong University of Science and Technology, majoring in mining, and obtained his Ph.D. degree in geodesy and surveying engineering from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). He is a well-known expert in coal mining subsidence damage and protection technology from the China Coal Research Institute (CCRI). In 1994, he served as the technical consultant of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and in 1996, he was an expert awarded by special allowances from the State Council of China. He used to be the executive director of the China Coal Society and the chairman of the Mine Surveying Professional Committee. He is currently the president of the International Society for Mine Surveying (ISM) and a professor at the School of Environment and Spatial Informatics, China University of Mining and Technology.
